Our coaching staff has the strongest collective playing resume offered from a coaching staff in the Flathead valley. Offering both player and coaching perspective from MCLA through NCAA DI teams with national rankings, our coaches understand what it takes to play championship level lacrosse. We take pride in passing college level skills, techniques, coaching, discipline, and love for the sport to our athletes.

NATE JOHNNIE

Nate started playing lacrosse in the 3rd grade in Beaverton, Oregon. As his passion for lacrosse progressed through his youth, he began off-season travel programs and personal training. In highschool, he was a 4 year starter for Beaverton High School wehre he was named offensive MVP and led his team to a state championship in 2016. Toward the conclusion of his High Shool carrer, Nate started coaching for 3D Oregon, an off season travel program. Nate attended many tournaments around the country during his 4 years as a playing, and 5 years coaching travel lacrosse. Following High School, he played NCAA D3 lacrosse for the York College of Pennsylvania Spartans. During his career at York, he appeared in 3 NCAA Tournament Quarterfinal Games, and won a MAC Conference Championship. Following graduation, Nate moved to the Flathead Valley and began working for a remote tech company. He grew up spending his summers just south of Columbus, MT in the Beartooth Absarokee mountain range where he developed his passion for fly fishing! He spends all of his time fishing, coaching, and snowboarding Big Mountain.

Coach Lukas is our newest addition to our staff. Born in San Diego, CA, Coach Lukas is part of a wave of new players that got their start in lacrosse out West, and have earned their spots on top colleges and universities in traditional hotbeds. Lukas is currently a main feature for the NCAA DI Manhattan College Jaspers defense. Lukas spends a majority of his runs as a lockdown LSM, but is always available to answer the call at Close Defender. In addition to his stick skills and Lax IQ, Lukas' flexibility to play multiple positions, focus on good positioning, and team centered attitude have helped him to excel with the Jaspers, including earning himself a spot on the coveted Man Down unit. Look for Coach Lukas at our 406 Elite practices and games, or catch him on ESPN+ playing against top teams in the country.

Carly started playing lacrosse in the 1st grade in Lake Oswego, Oregon. As she continued to grow as a player, she earned the opportunity to train and compete on Oregon Select teams. In high school, Carly earned state league titles as a four-year varsity starting attacker for Beaverton High School. During the off season, she traveled and played club lacrosse for 3D Oregon. After graduating from Montana State University,  Carly is excited to continue growing the 406 Lacrosse women's program.

Hallie grew up in Missoula, MT and has been playing lacrosse for 8 years! She is currently playing for The Montana State women’s lacrosse club program. Last season Hallie began coaching for Headwaters Lacrosse and can't wait to continue that through her college years. The sport of lacrosse has had a huge impact on Hallie's life, she hopes to inspire young girls the same way her coaches inspired her. She is beyond excited to coach for 406 Lacrosse and help grow the sport in her home state!

natalie wallon

Born and raised in Charlotte, NC, Natalie graduated from Syracuse University in 2019 and was a midfielder/captain of the Women's Lacrosse team. During her time at Syracuse, she was an IWLCA All-America Third Team honoree (2017), All-Northeast Region First Team selection (2017), All-ACC Second Team (2017), and a member of the ACC All-Tournament Team (2017). Her team made a Final Four appearance in 2016 and were ACC Championship Runner Ups in 2016 & 2017. Natalie spent the summer of 2018 coaching camps and clinics around the state of Montana and enjoys coaching all ages. She recently moved to Lakeside and works in tourism marketing for the Kalispell area.
